Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tightener who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. Former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez is an regular participant on FOX NFL KICKOFF in the NFL's 2017 season. The show, which lasts for an hour, is a precursor to FOX NFL Sunday on Sundays, at 11 AM ET throughout the NFL Season.
Gonzalez resigned with the Falcons on March 15 2013. He signed a contract that was of $14 million for two years, even though he claimed that he would retire at the close of the season. Randy Moss retired in 2013, and Gonzalez at 37 at the time was able to finish the final year of his professional career in the position of being the NFL leader for receiving yards.
